The first leg of the Young Event Horse Series took place in Scarteen House Yesterday. This Horse Sport Ireland sponsored event had 103 entries between the four and five-year-old classes. The next leg in this series takes place in Fourth Mountain, Wexford next Tuesday 11th June.
Chris Ryan owner of Scarteen said ‘We were thrilled with how the course rode for the young horses and the ground conditions were exactly as we wanted. The quality of the four-year olds in particular were very impressive, exciting times ahead for the Irish Sport Horse’.
