Second day of Dublin Horse Show takes place tomorrow

Competition is now in full swing at the capital’s prestigious five star show. On Thursday, the first of the Horse Sport Ireland sponsored classes is the first qualifier for the HSI 5 Year Old National Championship, which takes place at 15.05 GMT in the Simmonscourt Arena. At 18.00 GMT in the same arena, the HSI 3 Year Old Loose Performance Championship will take place. This class is split into two section, with 10 colts/geldings competing in section A and 10 fillies competing in section B. Two Champions, one from each section, will be crowned at the end of the competition.
In the Main Arena, the Speed Derby will be the first international class of the day and kicks off at 13.35 GMT. This class will be followed by the Speed Stakes at 15.25 GMT and the Angelsea Stakes at 17.35 GMT. There will be almost €75,000 on offer for the three international classes.
Horse Sport Ireland’s trade stand is located in the Main Hall and the Irish Horse Gateway exhibition unit is located in Simmonscourt.
