SJ Breeding: Dougie Douglas (ISH) on winning Nations Cup Team at Rome CSIO5*

Holly Gillott and her Irish Sport Horse Dougie Douglas continued an upward spiral when playing their part in Great Britain’s win of Rome CSIO5* Nations Cup. This was the first taste of top level Nations Cup success for the pair who last year were members of  the winning GBR Nations Cup team at Odense CSIO3*, who were all mounted on Irish-bred horses.

The Ard VDL Douglas sired gelding was bred near Askeaton, County Limerick, by John O’Brien. Impressively, John also bred One Two Many who recently finished 7th in Badminton CCI4* with Nicola Wilson (GBR). Both Dougie Douglas and One Two Many are out of half sisters Neills Girl (by High Roller) and Cul na Breathar (by Colin Diamond).
