SJ Breeding: Kingdom of Bahrain Trophy won by Loughview Lou Lou (ISH)

The Irish Sport Horse mare Loughview Lou Lou recorded another Grand Prix win under Ireland’s Dermott Lennon when winning at Windsor CSI3*. Billy Twomey (IRL) and the Irish Sport Horse stallion Ardcolum Duke claimed the 1m50 Bahrain Pearl Stakes at the same event.

Of the four horses competing for Team GBR that finished second at Odense Nations Cup, three were Irish Sport Horses; A Touch Imperious (ISH), Avoca Valkyrie (ISH) & HHS Figero (ISH). Between La Baule CSIO5* and Odense CSIO3* Nations Cup competitions a total of eight Irish Sport Horse competed for Team’s Ireland, Switzerland, Great Britain and Norway.

At home the Barclay Communications Grand Prix at Balmoral CSI2* saw the top two positions going to Irish-bred horses Suma’s Zorro and Derryinver Luxury Cruise.
