Team Ireland Equestrian line out for first Nations Cup of 2019

Team Ireland Equestrian’s showjumpers compete at Wellington Deeridge Farm Florida (USA) for the first Longines FEI Nations Cup competition of 2019. Development Team Manager, Michael Blake, last week announced the five man squad from which he will chose his team of four to represent Ireland in the Nations Cup on Sunday at 18.30 IST. Those combinations are Cormac Hanley with VDL Cartello (owned by Heathman Farm LLC), Darragh Kenny with Babalou 41 (owned by Jack Snyder), Paul O’Shea with Skara Glen’s Machu Picchu (owned by Machu Picchu Partners LLC), Conor Swail with Rubens LS La Silla (owned by Rose Hill Farm) and Shane Sweetnam with Indra Van De Oude Heihoef (owned by The Blue Buckle Group).
Elsewhere on the showjumping circuit, action takes place at Hong Kong (CHN), Wellington Florida (USA), Vilamoura (POR), Neununster (GER), Dubai (UAE), Oliva Valencia (ESP), Lier (BEL), Vejer De La Frontera (ESP) and Carmona (ESP). In dressage Ireland will be represented at Neumunster (GER) and in endurance at Trinidad (URU).
