The GAIN Equine Nutrition Dressage athletes announced for 2021 FEI European Championships

Horse Sport Ireland today announced (in alphabetical order) the GAIN Equine Nutrition Irish U16 (Pony) Dressage team that will compete at this year’s FEI European Championships for Ponies which will take place at Strzegom, Poland from August 11th to 15th 2021.
The GAIN Equine Nutrition Irish U16 (Pony) Dressage team in alphabetical order is:
Rachel Carr with Calelvador May Blossom (GBR – Welsh Pony & Cob Society)
Cillian Curran with Blokland’s Hoeve’s Amor (NED – Welsh Pony)
Louise Hooijen with Valhallas Zorro (GBR – Welsh Pony & Cob Society)
Oscar O’Connor with Top Hero 2 (GER – Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V.)
Non travelling Reserves: in alphabetical order
Shauna Fitzgibbon with Damocles LL (GBR – Pet-ID Equine / JRC Horse Register)
Ellen McDonald with Dante Alighieri (GER – Verband der Pony- und Kleinpferdezüchter Hannover e.V.)
Speaking after the announcement, Anne Marie Dunphy, Horse Sport Ireland Youth Dressage Team Manager said:
“With six strong combinations making it to the final selection phase each round became more competitive as the athletes gave it their all, making it an extremely tough decision. I would like to congratulate the athletes, parents, coaches and support teams for their excellent work and commitment to the High Performance Youth Dressage Programme and look forward to seeing the team compete at the Championships.”
