The Underwriting Exchange Jumping In The City Starters Revealed

THE start lists for the first leg of the The Underwriting Exchange Limited Jumping In The City series to take place in Limerick on Friday June 5th were announced this week.
Last into the ring for the Grand Prix will be former World Champion Dermott Lennon and Judith Sossick’s prolific Irish Sport Horse mare Loughview Lou Lou.
Also qualifying due to his FEI ranking is recent international winning combination Capt Michael Kelly and Drumiller Lough (ISH). The riders qualifying due to their SJI ranking are headed by Ger O’Neill and include 11 times National Champion Francis Connors.
Teen sensation Susan Fitzpatrick (16) secured a place by being the highest placed young rider at the Horseware/TRM Premier series Grand Prix in Louth Robert Splaine selected Dean Rogan and Neal Fearon while the Organising Committee have allocated two places to local riders Joan Greene and international eventer Michael Ryan.
The six riders selected by the SJI competitions committee for the Devenish Puissance are; Sven Hadley, Jason Higgins, Gabriel Corless, William MCDonnell Jnr, Liam O’Meara and Vincent Byrne.
The draw for the West Wood/Ifor Williams Amateur classes at Cork and Limerick were streamed live on Irish Horse TV, see links to start lists below.

The list of starters for the Cork Grand Prix and Puissance will be announced next week.
The Amateur class will now commence at the earlier time of 6.15pm with Grand Prix timed for 7.30pm and the Puissance for 8.30pm. The gates will open at 5.30pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance by phoning 1890 269 969 Tickets cost €15 for adults, children under 14 are free and a Student and OAP rate of €10 will apply.
While advance booking would be helpful to the organisers, patrons can pay at the turnstiles on the night.
