Thomas O’Brien and Paciro (ISH) claim victory in the first leg of the ISH Studbook SJ Series in the Meadows

Paciro (ISH) by Pacino (BWP) bred by Patrick Flanagan, owned by  Lorna Daly, and ridden by Thomas O’Brien jumped double clear in a time of 39.50 seconds to win the 7 Year Old Final of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series at The Meadows Show. One of only seven double clears in the 7 year old class, O’Brien beat off stiff competition from the twenty-five combinations who made it through to the final.

In the 5 Year Old final, fourteen combinations jumped double clear to split the win. While in the 6 Year Olds, there were only six clear rounds. There was €9,500 on offer in The Meadows from the Irish Sport Horse Studbook for these young horse classes. The next leg takes place in Barnadown on 12th and 13th May.
