Thomas O’Brien does it again on board Paciro (ISH) in the 7 Year Old Final of the ISH SJ Studbook Series.

For the second time in the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Series Thomas O’Brien and Paciro (ISH) the 7 year old gelding by Pacino (BWP) out of Ramiro View (ISH) by Ramiro B (BWP) bred by Patrick Flanagan owned by Lorna Daly jumped a very fast double clear in a time of 33.20 seconds to win the 7 Year Old Final of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series at Cork Summer Show. One of only 8 double clears in the 7 year old class, O’Brien beat off stiff competition from the eighteen combinations who made it through to the final. Francis Connors took a very close second place riding Tara M (ISH) a mare by Luidam (KWPN) out of Lasina Ii (HOLST) by Lasino (HOLST) bred and owned by Natalie Macken, in a time of 33.75

In the 5 Year Old final, nine combinations jumped double clear to split the win. While in the 6 Year Olds, there were only five clear rounds. There was €9,500 on offer in Cork Summer Show from the Irish Sport Horse Studbook for these young horse classes. The next leg takes place in Tattersalls on 21^st and 22^nd July.
