THE Traditional Irish Horse Association is hosting “The TIHA Hunter Show and Go” on Saturday October 19 in Knocklong, Co. Limerick.

Twenty-five to 30 traditional bred quality hunting horses which have previously been selected will be showcased and videoed jumping a course of natural fences on the Scarteen Future Event Horse track from 10am. These horses will be for sale on the day, and horses not sold on the day will have their performance put up on the Traditional Irish Horse Association website www.traditionalirishhorse.com.

Horse Sport Ireland is delighted to announce that the HSI “Inward Buying” scheme will be available to UK purchasers.

Speaking about the event, Horse Sport Ireland Chairman Dr. Patrick Wall said: “Riding an Irish Hunter is a badge of honour amongst members of hunt clubs across the UK, and these handpicked horses will be great ambassadors to make sure the Irish horse is first choice for anybody looking for a top class cross country machine. The Traditional Irish Horse Association is to be complimented for this initative and hopefully we will see plenty of sales.”
