Billy Twomey hit top spot again at the Horse Of The Year show at Birmingham when he partnered Tin Tin to victory in the Accumulator event this evening (Saturday).
It is the second successive day that the Corkman rose to the number one spot at this show, but whereas yesterday he shared first place with two other riders, this evening Twomey claimed outright victory, as he partnered the 13-year-old grey gelding to finish fastest by over a second, ahead of runner-up Francois Jr Mathy of Belgium on board Falco Van De Clehoeve.
Trevor Breen added to the Irish haul by taking fifth place in the event with Oldtown KC, who were just 0.16 of a second off a podium finish.
Later this evening, Anthony Condon shared third place in the Puissance event riding Hadine Van’t Zorgvliet.
Billy Twomey triumphed in this evening’s Accumulator class at HOYS.
