Victory in Galway Equestrian Centre for Higgins and Creevyquinn Pearl (ISH) at the second leg of the ISH SJ Series 2021

Creevyquinn Pearl (ISH) by Cardento (HOLST) out of Fragonda (KWPN) by Corland (HOLST) bred by Stephen and Elisha Reilly owned by Michael Condon ridden by Jason Higgins jumped double clear in a time of 36.75 seconds to win the 7-year-old final of second leg of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series at Galway Equestrian Centre.

One of only fifteen double clears in the 7-year-old class, Higgins fought off stiff competition from Vincent Byrne and HW True Blue who he beat by a fraction on a second. In the 5-year-old final, 35 combinations jumped double clear to split the win, while in the 6-year-olds, there were 22 clear rounds.

There was €8,500 on offer in Galway Equestrian centre from the Irish Sport Horse Studbook for this one day show for the young horse classes.

The next leg takes place next weekend in Barnadown on the 8th and 9th May.
