WEG FIP 2014: IRELAND UNDEFEATED IN CHANTILLY

To date the Irish Polo team remain undefeated in Chantilly, FIP European Championships having beaten both Austria and Spain, therefore Ireland have secured a place in the semi finals. During Saturday’s match against Spain Captain Stephen Hutchinson sustained an injury and was substituted by Patrick Ephson. The Irish team rallied through to win Mondays match against Austria an impressive 7 goals to 4. The next match for the Irish Team will be today at 2pm where they will play England who also also remain undefeated.
Ireland have beaten both Austria and Spain and therefore have secured a place in the Semi Finals similarly England’s two earlier successes have also earned them a place in the Semi Finals which will take place on Friday.
Sebastian Dawnay, Irish Polo Team Captain said; I am pleased with the way the team played on Monday and even though England is a strong team I feels it is all to play for today . This competition is now down to four teams and the result of today will determine we play in the semi finals – (France or Italy depending on who wins League A)
