World Breeding Eventing Championships for Young Horses take place this week

Team Ireland Equestrian eventers will compete at the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses this week, at Le Lion d’Angers (FRA). Action kicks off tomorrow (Thursday) with the dressage phase, which will continue on Friday. The cross-country phase takes place on Saturday and the final showjumping phase on Sunday. Elsewhere on the eventing circuit, Ireland will be represented at Aldon (GBR).
In showjumping, Irish riders compete at Helsinki (FIN), Tryon North Carolina (USA), Del Mar Horse Park California (USA), Herning (DEN), Harrisburg Pennsylvania (USA), Kronenberg (NED), Chevenez (FRA), Calgary Stampede Park (CAN), Dunkerque (FRA), Michalowice (POL) and Lier (BEL). In endurance, Irish riders compete at Tartas (FRA).
This week more than 100 entries have been made for 50 Irish riders competing in FEI international competitions worldwide.
