Youth High Performance Assessment Days 29th & 30th October 2018

High Performance Manager Anne Marie Dunphy will hold assessment days for the 2019 Youth Dressage squads at Spruce Lodge Equestrian Training Facility on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th October 2018.

For 2019, the HP Youth Dressage Programme will comprise of High Performance Squads and High Performance Development Squads for Ponies, Juniors, Young Riders and Children on Horses. Qualifying criteria for assessment for the Horse Sport Ireland HP Youth Dressage Programme is based on the current level that an athlete is training and competing in the current year.



The High-Performance Squads – combinations who have competed at CDIP/J/YR/COH or who have achieved qualification to compete at FEI level and are aiming to do so in 2019.

The High-Performance Development Squads – combinations achieving 68%+ at novice level and above, working towards their relevant FEI  level who, based on assessment/results show potential to progress to International level.

Former High Performance squad members with new horses/ponies which do not yet meet the criteria but who are training towards their relevant level may apply for assessment.

Athletes must be members of and ponies/horses registered with Dressage Ireland.

Parents/guardians are requested to bring a current measuring cert for their ponies and there will be a charge for this assessment/training days. The charge will be decided once final number of athletes are known.

Stabling and hook up to be booked directly in advance with Spruce Lodge Equestrian Training Facility.
