The WBFSH FEI World Breeding Jumping
Championships for Young Horses takes place in
September each year in Lanaken, Belgium, where
the world's best 5, 6 and 7 year old show jumpers
gather to compete. All horses that compete must
be registered in a studbook that is a member of
the WBFSH and each country is given a quota for
the number of horses they can select to compete
per age category. The list of 15 Irish Sport Horses
selected to compete in 2012 is shown on the
following page with their results. The Irish Chef
d'Equipe was Comdt John Ledingham. Also included
below is a graph detailing the results from these
championships between 2003 and 2012.
