It was another hugely successful year for
Bertram Allen who won the World Cup at
Bordeaux, finished third in the World Cup at
Las Vegas, won the Global Champions Tour
at Paris and was part of the Irish team that
won the Aga Khan Nations Cup at Dublin. At
the end of 2015, Bertram was ranked number
6 in the world.
Ireland emerged triumphant at the RDS in Dublin, in August 2015, with
a decisive win in the Aga Khan Nations Cup, finishing on a team total
of four faults. Pictured in front of an ecstatic home crowd are the team
during their lap of honour: Cian O'Connor, Greg Broderick, Darragh
Kenny and Bertram Allen.
The nine-year-old MHS Going Global (ISH) and Greg
Broderick enjoyed a stellar year, jumping in five
Furusiyya Nations Cup competitions and producing
double clear rounds at St Gallen and Dublin where
they were part of the winning team on their debut
appearance in the Aga Khan.
