DAFM Eventing Studbook Series Standings after Hillcrest

Leg three of the DAFM Eventing Studbook Series took place on the 5th of August at Rodney O’Donnel’s Hillcrest in county Limerick. The league standings are starting to get competitive with many competitors contesting the league titles in attendance.
The 7yr old league was currently tied between Stephen Smith and Jack O’Haire on 15 points. Smith has now added another horse to the top of the leaderboard, winning the 7yr old section in Hillcrest on Tullaher Paudie (ISH). Smith completed a 1-2 in this class finishing up in second place with Premier Lara (ISH).

Belline Ames to Please (ISH) picked up his first points in the league under Robbie Kearns, winning the 6yr old section. He was followed in second place by the very consistent Kilcoltrim Cooley (ISH) who now leads the league under Clare Abbott. Third place on the day went to Niamh Tottenham riding her own Slieve Callan Solice (ISH).

Robbie Kearns was on a winning streak picking up first and second in the 5yr old section on Belline Castle Ziggy (ISH) and Belline Kilbunny Harmony (ISH) respectively. Third on the day was league leader, MT Kenobis Touch (ISH) under Clare Abbott

The final leg of the league takes place in Tattersalls on Sunday the 18th of August, with the final taking place at the Eventing Ireland National Championships in Kilguilkey House, Co. Cork from the 7th-8th September.
