Following the postponement of the DAFM studbook Series in Millstreet to the 30th of April, the second leg of the series turned to The Meadows Equestrian centre on Saturday 25th April. This series is funded under National Breeding Services by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine with a total prize fund of €90,000.

Over eighty horses competed over the three age categories with about half of these in the five-year-old section. Seventeen on these five-year-olds jumped a double clear to divide the €2,000 on offer. One of these double clears was Kinmar Rustanza P (KWPN) ridden by Shane Treanor.

Sixteen of the twenty-five combinations jumped double clear in the six-year-old class including Eoghan Murphy riding Miss Vivienne (ISH) where there was €2,200 on offer.

Despite the small entry in the seven-year-old section, it remained competitive with nine first round clears jumping off in the second phase. Only four combinations jumped a double clear with the fastest of these being Sven Hadley riding Toleen St (BWP). Second place went to the Vincent Burton owned and bred Drumrankin Ebony (ISH) ridden by Olivia Roulston, with Linda Moloney and Calise Talent Z (ZANG) in third.
