Horse Sport Ireland are delighted to announce the launch of the 2026 Foal Championships. The foal Championships is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine, under National Breeding Services. As in 2025, many of the qualifiers will run in conjunction with the qualifiers of the 3 year old filly loose jumping.
There will be 4 provincial qualifiers for the Foal Championships, with prizes for the first and second placed foals in categories for both horse and pony foals in showjumping and eventing, with prizes for the top scoring TIH foals. Winning foals from each qualifier will qualify for the final in Emerald Equestrian, on 15th October.
Dates and venues are below, applications are made online with HSI, payments are made directly to the venues.
