High Performance Sport
Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) High Performance includes all athletes representing Ireland across the Olympic disciplines of show jumping, eventing and dressage, the Paralympic discipline of para dressage and FEI disciplines of carriage driving, endurance and vaulting. It includes all senior teams and all underage European Championship teams – Young Riders (Under 21), Junior Riders (Under 18), Pony Riders (Under 16) and Children On Horses (Under 14).
It also includes the Irish Sport Horse studbook teams competing in show jumping and eventing World Young Horse Championships.
HSI has a seven-day-a-week press service in place and constantly strives to get more coverage of equestrian sport in national newspapers, radio and television. This service, includes press releases of Irish athltetes and their horses in international competition, as well as full weekly result listing of Irish-bred horses competing internationally.
Our social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok are constantly updated with updates from within the organisation, as well as Irish athletes and horses in action on the global stage.
Horse Sport Ireland work collaboratively in partnership with Sport Ireland, Sport Northern Ireland the Olympic Federation of Ireland and Paralympics Ireland to make performances that are microseconds faster and millimetres further, to put more Irish equestrian combinations on the podium.
