Ireland obtain individual dressage place at Paris Olympics

Anne Marie Dunphy looking forward to selection process after FEI decision
Ireland has been awarded an individual quota place in dressage at the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.
The FEI confirmed this afternoon which countries have obtained one of 15 individual slots, with Ireland chosen alongside Norway in Group A.
The place was awarded on the basis of Olympic ranking points, and all is to play for over the coming months with a pool of strong combinations to choose from.
“This is great news to have confirmation of an individual place for Paris, I’m delighted for our riders and for Irish dressage, a delighted Dressage High Performance Director Anne Marie Dunphy said.
“We have a number of strong international athletes with their sights set on Paris and I’m looking forward to seeing them compete in the coming weeks.”
