National Stallion Showcase – Update Issued

Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) would like to issue an update in relation to the National Stallion Showcase, funded under National Breeding Services by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and delivered by HSI, scheduled for April 12^th in Emerald Equestrian Centre.

Due to several late withdrawals and having assessed the level of remaining entries, HSI feels that the numbers are not viable to host the 2025 National Stallion Showcase.

HSI want to ensure all events are worthwhile for breeders, spectators, and suppliers. Therefore, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the Stallion Showcase and reassess for an event in 2026.

We would like to acknowledge all breeders, stallion owners and trade suppliers for their interest and effort in entering the showcase and wish breeders the very best for the 2025 breeding season.
