FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses

The FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses takes place from September 24th – 28th 2025 at the world famous Zangersheide Studfarm in Lanaken, Belgium.

Athletes can fill out an Expression of Interest for consideration of Chef D’Equipe Taylor Vard for the Irish Studbooks Team Horses and Wildcards AT THIS LINK. Athletes looking to compete in the Sires Of The World are also required to fill out the Expression Of Interest form.

The WBFSH have notified member studbooks that the Valkenswaard Studbooks Trophy will not proceed in Valkenswaard this year. The WBFSH have said that they are working on a return of the Studbooks Trophy event, but it will not proceed in 2025.

This year, Le Mondial du Lion is celebrating its 40th anniversary and will take place at Le Lion D’Angers, France, from October 16th-19th.

Athletes can fill out an Expression of Interest for consideration of Horse Sport Ireland’s Young Event Horse Team Manager Debbie Young AT THIS LINK.

Debbie Byrne will host a Le Lion d’Angers viewing day on Monday, 12th August at Killossery Lodge Stud.

The viewing day is open to 6- and 7-year-old horses that are being aimed at the championships.
