IRISH Sport Horse Will Wimble took victory at the CSI2* Balmoral Grand Prix last Friday the 17th May 2013.

Will Wimble is owned and bred by Harold McGahern, Rincoola, Granard, Co. Longford and is partnered with Alexander Butler.  This successful partnership have being together since 2005, with notable successes achieved to date include the Lummen Grand Prix in 2012 and the Vodafone Grand Prix title in Balmoral in 2011.
Will Wimble (ISH) is a 13 year old grey gelding by Touchdown (ISH) out of The Woolsack (ISH), by Roselier (TB).
The Irish Sport Horse stallion Touchdown, was by the sire Galoubet A (SF) out of the international show jumper Lady Willpower (ISH).
With James Kernan, Touchdown enjoyed a successful international show jumping career. In 1992, he was the highest placed Irish show jumper at the Barcelona Olympics and he was a member of the winning Aga Khan Cup team in Dublin in the same year.
Other progeny include the mare Liscalgot, on whom Dermot Lennon won individual gold at the World Equestrian Games in Jerez in 2002.
