Allen untouchable in Swedish Grand Prix

Bertram Allen grabbed the glory in decisive fashion in today’s (Sunday) Grand Prix at the four-star meeting in Stockholm, Sweden.
Riding Quiet Easy, with whom he won last night’s speed class at the Scandinavian venue, the Wexford rider was one of six to qualify for the jump-off.
Only three combinations managed a second clear, with Allen and Quiet Easy by far the sharpest, the pairing ousting runner-up Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum on Aspara by over two and a half seconds.
The win marks the second four-star Grand Prix success of the weekend for Ireland, Conor Swail and Viva Colombia having taken the honours in Florida last night (Saturday).
