Longfield Quinlui (ISH) by Quintender (HOLST) out of Dshlyi (ISH) by Luidam (KWPN) bred by Seamus Drea, owned and ridden by Derek McConnell, jumped double clear in a time of 47.75 seconds to win the 7-year-old final of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series at Galway County show today (Sunday).

The Irish Show Jumping team have been handed the toughest possible draw for tomorrow’s (Sunday) hugely important Longines FEI Nations Cup at Sopot in Poland, with Rodrigo Pessoa’s team drawn first out of the hat – meaning they will be the first team to enter the arena when the competition starts at the earlier than usual time of 9.30am Irish time.
