Tattersalls International Horse Trials 2012
William Fox-Pitt and the Irish Sport Horse gelding Bay My Hero won the featured class, The Irish Field CCI3*, at Tattersalls International Horse Trials and Country Fair in association with Horse Sport Ireland. This win was to secure the treble for Fox-Pitt and the Cult Hero (CAN)(TB) gelding, Bay My Hero, the pair having previously won the CCI1* in 2010 and CCI2* in 2011 at the same venue. The winning combination collected €6,500 in prize money. Seven Irish Sport Horses filled top ten positions in the CCI3* class. Ireland’s Sarah Ennis and her Porsch (BWP) sired Sugar Brown Babe (ISH) took second place with Polly Stockton (GBR) and Westwood Mariner (ISH), by Cult Hero (CAN) (TB), in third.
Bay My Hero (ISH) was bred by Bryan Maguire, Tomgar, Ballycanew, Gorey, Co. Wexford.
