Irish-bred horses feature in two Nations Cup top two finishes

Irish Sport Horse Ballypatrick Flamenco with Ireland’s Kevin Gallagher were on the winning team in the €75,000 three-star Nations Cup in Portugal last week, alongside team members Richard Howley, Jessica Burke and Jenny Rankin. Ballypatrick Flamenco is a 2010 gelding by Je T’Aime Flamenco (BWP) out of a Cruising (ISH)[TIH] mare, bred by Noel Cawley.

Meanwhile Akarad Hero Z (ZANG), bred by Gerry Marron & Luc Henry featured on the Belgian team that took second place in the five-star Nations Cup in Rome, Italy last week. Akarad Hero Z is by Aganix Du Seigneur Z (SBS) out of a Chin Chin (HOLST) mare.
