Sarah Ennis leads Irish 1-2-3 at Kilguilkey International Horse Trials in Cork

Irish Eventing riders have filled the top three places in the feature Global Sport Horses CIC3* at Fernhill Sport Horses Kilguilkey International Horse Trials in Co Cork.

Meath’s Sarah Ennis (pictured) and Horseware Stellor Rebound (ISH) took the top prize after finishing on their Dressage score of 28.2. Second place to Galway’s Cathal Daniels with Sammy Davis Junior (ISH) on a score of 31 penalties while Joseph Murphy and Sportsfield Othello (ISH) finished third on 33 penalties.

Cathal Daniels was best of the Irish in the Top Spec CIC2* when finishing second with OLS King Aragon (ISH), while Fraser Duffy came out on top in the Plusvital CIC1* with Fernhill Sky High (ISH). The Eventing Ireland CIC1* for Ponies was won by Ava Banahan with Regent Des Mauvis.
