Walking for those who can’t

ON Sunday 23rd March, equestrian sportswoman Caroline Bjoerk will set out on a 330km walk across Ireland over 12 days from Clifden to Dublin, to focus attention on the many people who cope daily with chronic back pain, caused by direct spinal injury or as a result of a range of degenerative back conditions. Caroline hopes to raise €50,000 for Beaumont Hospital Foundation to go towards Spinal Degeneration Research.
Caroline’s own sporting falls and accidents left her with debilitating back pain, which she has overcome through surgery. To find out more about this event, check out Caroline’s website which includes an itinerary for the 12 days at
