Irish showjumpers compete in Nations Cup competitions this weekend

Irish showjumpers will compete in Nations Cup competitions across Europe this weekend. The senior riders compete at the 3 Star show at Lisbon (POR), where the Nations Cup will take place on Friday at 18.00 GMT. Ireland’s underage showjumpers travel to Opglabbeek (BEL), with teams lining out in the Nations Cup classes for Juniors, Children On Horses and Ponies – which all take place on Friday. Ireland will also be represented at the next leg of the Global Champions Tour at Chantilly (FRA).
Irish riders will fly the flag in the disciplines of showjumping, eventing, dressage and driving this weekend, across 11 different countries and in three separate continents. In total, Ireland will be represented by 49 athletes at 14 shows, representing 99 individual entries.
