Tipperary’s Denis Lynch and the 13-year-old gelding GC Chopin’s Bushi have recorded an impressive fourth place finish in today’s (Saturday) Land Rover Grand Prix at Helsinki’s five-star World Cup show in Finland.
Seven combinations made it into the jump-off, where Lynch crossed the line clear in 36.80 seconds which would see him finish fourth and collect just over €10,000. The winners prize of almost €26,000 went to Britain’s Robert Whitaker and Catwalk IV with a time of 35.89.
Helsinki will host the second round of the Longines FEI World Cup on Sunday with Denis Lynch, Clare’s Eoin McMahon and Derry’s David Simpson among the 40 starters.
