Red Mills FEI Quota Horses Selection Days
- 6 July 2021, 11:54
An opportunity has been afforded to all WBFSH 5, 6 and 7 year old horses to compete in FEI quota horse Lanaken selection days. These classes are kindly sponsored by Red Mills.
While the FEI/WBFSH Young Horse Show jumping Championship (Lanaken) schedule is not available yet for the 2021 event, historically the FEI quota horses have been defined as:
“Horses ridden by Irish FN licenced rider’s but not included in the WBFSH Quota system”. In simple terms, these are horses that have a studbook passport, which is a WBFSH breed, other than Irish Sport Horse or Warmblood studbook of Ireland.
In preparation for a results-based selection process the following venues will host these additional classes in July.
- 7th July Barnadown Equestrian
- 14th July Tipperary Equestrian Centre
Eligibility for the classes at these shows:
- All 5, 6 and 7 year old WBFSH breeds, are eligible to compete.
If you are competing on a WBFSH Breed horse internationally, or cannot attend the selection days but wish to be considered for selection, please send a video of your horse competing and links of the horses results to Nadia Rea at nrea@horsesportireland.ie
