Tamsin Addison finishes 12th and Rosemary Gaffney 15th in Paralympic Dressage Individual competition

Ireland’s Tamsin Addison and the 10-year-old gelding Fahrenheit have finished 12th overall in today’s Grade V individual Dressage competition at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. Addison scored 66.405% in a competition where the gold medal went to Belgium’s Michelle George and Best Of 8 on a score of 76.524%.
In the earlier Grade IV competition, Ireland’s Rosemary Gaffney and Werona scored 65.390% on their way to a 15th place finish while Dutch rider Sanne Voets claimed the gold medal with Demantur with a score of 76.585%.
The remaining two Irish Para Dressage athletes, Michael Murphy riding Cleverboy and Kate Kerr-Horan with Serafina T, will perform their individual tests on Friday with the team competition taking place on Saturday and Sunday, followed by the Freestyle Final on Monday.
