Irish Sport Horse EIC Cooley Jump The Q wins CSI5* Longines Grand Prix

10-year-old EIC Cooley Jump The Q (ISH) won the 1.60m Longines Grand Prix at the CSI5* in Basel, Switzerland on Friday 13th of January. This was the first 5*victory for the Pacino-sired gelding. Ridden by Max Kühner (AUS), EIC Cooley Jump The Q (ISH) was bred by Carlow’s Pam Walshe and comes from a long and successful dam line.
In Abu Dhabi, the Irish Sport Horse Fernhill Check Your Pocket, won the 1.40m Table A competition with Portuguese rider Duarte Seabra for owner Carol Gee. The CSI4*-W show proved fruitful for Irish-bred horses with a further four Irish Sport Horses claiming top 5 placings throughout the week.
