European Pony Championships taking place in Millstreet

Who’s Competing: The European Pony Championships take place in Millstreet this week, with riders from 14 countries competing in the Showjumping, Eventing and Dressage Championships at the Cork venue. Ireland will be represented with teams competing in all three Championships. On the showjumping circuit, senior Irish showjumpers will compete in the Nations Cup at Hickstead (GBR). Elsewhere, Ireland will be represented at the Global Champions Tour in Valkenswaard (NED), Gijon (ESP), Royan (FRA), Fontainebleau (FRA), Bonheiden (BEL) and Herlufmagle (DEN). On the eventing circuit, Irish eventer Austin O’Connor will compete at Gatcombe Park (GBR), while Irish dressage riders will line out at Hickstead (GBR). In Riesenbeck (GER), Irish drivers will compete in the 4* event.
