IRISH riders Paul Kennedy and Cameron Hanley featured among the placings in this afternoon’s (Sunday) 45,000 euro three-star Grand Prix in Ciekocinko, Poland.
Kennedy (pictured), on Cartown Danger Mouse, was one of only three clears in the opening round from 32 starters, and though he picked up four faults in the second round, his time was good enough to slot him into third place at the finish.
Cameron Hanley also made it into the deciding round on Antello Z, despite four faults in the opener. The pairing ended up with eight penalties overall to finish in seventh place on a day when most of the entrants struggled over the tough 1m50 course.
Only outright winner Philip Ruping of Germany on Cabachon ended up on a zero faults score.
