Floody Wins 7 Year Old ISH Studbook Series in Cavan

Castleroche Rebel (ISH) by Metropole (KWPN) bred and owned by Marie Quigley and ridden by John Floody jumped double clear in a time of 46.69 seconds to win the 7-year-old final of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series at Cavan Show. One of only 11 double clears in the 7-year-old class, Floody beat off stiff competition from the 25 combinations who made it through to the final.
In the 5 Year Old final, five combinations jumped double clear to split the win. While in the 6 Year Olds, there were only five clear rounds. There was €9,500 on offer in Cavan from the Irish Sport Horse Studbook for these young horse classes. The next leg takes place in Mullingar on 2nd and 3rd June.
