Horse Sport Ireland announces Gain Horse Feeds Junior Eventing European Squad

Horse Sport Ireland has confirmed the GAIN Horse feeds Junior Eventing Squad for the 2015 European Championships in Bialy Bor, Poland from the 13^th – 16^th of August.

The GAIN Horse feeds Junior Eventing Squad in alphabetical order is:

• Nessa Briody – Tomboy (ISH) or Kilnantic Brownie (ISH)
• Tessa Harley – Catsky (ISH)
• Adam Haugh – Jantar
• Robbie Kearns – Garrybritt Bonny (ISH)
• Conor Maguire – Derroon Wood (ISH)
• Shannon Nelson – OLS Back Chat or OLS Inis Flaith

The squad reserves that are as follows:

• Sam Micklem – Smart Spirit (ISH)
• Isabella Purcell – Daytona Du Rouet (ISH)

High Performance Junior Eventing Team Manager Debbie Byrne said:

“I am delighted with my selection at this point in proceedings. I have a good mixture of experience within my squad with 3 members from last year’s championships included.

All have been fully committed to the HSI junior high performance programme and are working well with team trainers.

None of this would be possible without parents/ owners and I appreciate that it is a huge undertaking, both with time & finances to even get to this stage.

We are really looking forward to travelling to these championships once again as reigning Junior European Eventing champions.”
