HSI & The Irish Sport Pony Studbook sponsor Millstreet Pony Owners Show

Horse Sport Ireland and the Irish Sport Pony Studbook proudly sponsored the Millstreet Pony Owners Charity Show.

This year saw the largest number of entries across all classes with approximately 3000 entries over the weekend. There were 40 entries in each of Sundays Grand Prix’s.

The prize fund was divided equally between Sundays 128cm, 138cm and 148cm Grand Prix’s, where the 2 highest placed ponies registered in an approved studbook received €440 for first prize and €226 for second place.

Thomas Duggan Owner and Manager of Greenglens Arena, Millstreet said ‘ The pony owners competition was delighted to receive this sponsorship from the Irish Sports Pony Studbook and it is great to see the studbook actively promoting our ponies in Ireland. The significance of which grows year after year. We look forward to more success with our ponies and riders’

2nd Highest – Sunny Jr (KWPN) owned by Anita Duffy out of RIJPAARD Sunny MV (KWPN) by Indoctro (HOLST) ridden by Orla Duffy
