Irish Olympic Eventing Team Order Confirmed As All Four Irish Horses Pass First Inspection

All four Irish Eventing horses have passed today’s (Friday) first horse inspection at Rio de Janerio in Brazil, ahead of the start of competition at Deodoro Horse Park in Rio on Saturday.
Horse Sport Ireland Eventing Team Manager Nick Turner has confirmed the starting order for the first Dressage phase which is spread over two days, beginning at 2pm Irish time on Saturday and continuing at the same time on Sunday.
Ireland will line out as follows:
Padraig McCarthy with Simon Porloe
Clare Abbott with Europrince (ISH)
Jonty Evans with Cooley Rorke’s Drift (ISH)
Mark Kyle with Jemilla
The Dressage phase of the Olympic Eventing competition will be followed by Cross Country on Monday, before the team and individual medals are decided on Tuesday, with competition starting at 2pm Irish time on both days.
