Irish Sport Horse Studbook Eventing Series final leg at Scarvagh House

The final leg in the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Eventing Series 2014 took place on Saturday 6^th September at Scarvagh House. There was a total of €20,000 on offer to young event horses from Horse Sport Ireland, in addition to Eventing Ireland prize money. At Scarvagh House, in addition to prizes for the top placed riders in the 4, 5 and 6 year old classes, there was breeder and owner prize money on offer as well as prizes for the highest placed mares in each of the leagues.

Winning the 4 year old final leg was Mark Robinson with Drumnaconnell Bellagio (ISH), while the 4 year old league was taken by Nessa Briody and Finnsceal (ISH). In the 5 year old class Beltrim Sweet Clover, ridden by Trevor Smith, took top honours, with Michael O’Toole’s Night And Light (ISH) finishing in pole position in the 5 year old league. Elizabeth Power did the double with Creevagh Miss Ferro SL (ISH) when she won both the 6 year old class at Scarvagh and was also crowned as winner of the 6 year old league. The top three mares were the 4 year old Ardglen Diva Dancer (ISH) ridden by Emma Jackson, the 5 year old Night And Light (ISH) ridden by Michael O’Toole and the 6 year old Creevagh Miss Ferro SL (ISH) ridden by Elizabeth Power.
