Training Days 2015

Young people are encouraged to attend training days and become familiar with what’s involved. Alongside the core principles of the competition, training days also focus on developing general knowledge through audiences with riders and industry professionals. Opportunities to assess foals, young and more experienced horses, and trips to the sales with a mentor have been included.

Young Breeder Training for 2015 commences on Saturday March 21st. New participants in the programme are always welcome. The main focus of the farm visits in 2015 will be to assess conformation and athleticism traits of the horses on the various farms in preparation for the National Competition to be held on a date yet to be confirmed in autumn 2015. The training days provide a fantastic opportunity to engage with some of the best professionals in the business and to learn about how they manage their yards and gain advice for those who are thinking of pursuing career with horses themselves. The farms involved in the programme are all producing quality competition horses.
