Junior Eventing – Training Dates & Travel Plans 2014

Selection Events
Tattersalls CCIJ* / CCI (u25)** OR Hopetoun CCI*
•MER for any of the above classes must be achieved prior to entry
•International application must be made
•FEI passport required for Hopetoun CCI*
Camphire CICYR**
•MER for CIC** event must be achieved prior to entry
•International application must be made
Selection
6 squad riders and 2 reserves will be named on Wed 30th July 2014
Junior Training
15th – 16th February 2014 – Abbotstown
16th – 17th April 2014 – Abbotstown
21st – 22nd July 2014 – Abbotstown
4th – 5th August 2014 – Final Squad Training – 6 squad riders & reserves will be required to attend at Abbotstown.
Horse Travel to Championships – Horses will leave on Sunday 10th August 2014
Rider Travel
Riders are the responsibility of Team Manager . Cars will be hired to commute the riders to & from hotel & show grounds with Team Manager and Team Coaches.
Hotel Accommodation
Riders will stay off site for the duration of the Championships in the selected hotel .
Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel which is around 8 miles/15 minutes from Bishop Burton, we will have some rooms available for parents on a first come first served basis once the team has been selected.
Airports
Humberside (30 minutes), Doncaster (45 minutes), Leeds/Bradford (one hour) and Manchester (two hours).
