Michael Blake names Irish Show Jumping team for Longines EEF Series Final

Irish Show Jumping team manager Michael Blake has named his four team members for tomorrow’s (Sunday) Longines EEF Series Final which takes place at Warsaw in Poland.

 

 

Ireland have been drawn second to jump of eleven teams and line out as follows:

Tipperary’s Thomas Ryan with Springfield 21 – owned by H3K Equestrian AB
Sligo’s Kevin Gallagher with Ballypatrick Flamenco (ISH) – owned by Greg Broderick
Tipperary’s Trevor Breen with Germaine W – owned by Mandy Hall
Clare’s Eoin McMahon with Chakra 9 – owned by Ludger Beerbaum Stables

The Longines EEF Series is organised by the European Equestrian Federation (EEF), in order to provide young talented riders, as well as up-and-coming horse and rider combinations and emerging European nations, with a chance to gain experience and improve technically at top level shows.

Ireland, who won the fourth leg of the series this year in Lisbon (POR), will be up against teams from Austria, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Hungary, The Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, the host country Poland and Italy. The teams from Austria, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Hungary will not only be battling to win but also fighting for promotion to the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Europe Division 1 for the 2023 season.

The Longines EEF Series Final will be broadcast live by ClipMyHorse.
