Nations Cup Show Jumping Squad Confirmed for Canada

Horse Sport Ireland today announced the Irish Nations Cup Squad that will compete at Langley, Canada on Friday. The four star Nations Cup will take place at 20.00 GMT.

The squad in alphabetical order is:

Robert Blanchette with Asticot Des Templiers and Lazur

James Chawke with Eros H

Daniel Coyle with Ridley and Tennyson

Jennifer Crooks with S.F. Uryadi

Conor Swail with Cita and Grafton

Ireland’s Chef d’Equipe for this event will be Taylor Vard as Robert Splaine will be at the five star Nations Cup in St Gallen, Switzerland which takes place at 13.30 GMT on the same day.

Speaking about the Canadian Nations Cup Taylor Vard said;

“We have two riders, Daniel Coyle and James Chawke making their debut on an Irish squad at Senior Nations Cup level. We are using these Nations Cups to promote up and coming riders. We are going with every intention of doing well, it will be a learning curve which will give these riders valuable experience in the future”
