Francis Connors crowned 2019 TRM/Horse Sport Ireland New Heights Champions Series winner – Ger O’Neill wins final leg at Barnadown

Waterford’s Francis Connors and the Hugh Fitzpatrick-owned and bred Erne Ladygoldilocks were crowned 2019 TRM/Horse Sport Ireland New Heights Champions Series winners following the final leg of the series at Barnadown in Co Wexford on Sunday September 2nd.  Connors and the 12-year-old chestnut mare finished third in the final leg giving them a total of 47 league points to take the title.

Twenty-two-year-old Cathal Daniels from Co Galway and the Irish Sport Horse mare Rioghan Rua (ISH) have produced a magnificent performance at the Longines FEI Eventing European Championships at Luhmühlen in Germany, to claim the individual bronze medal to add to the World Championship team silver medal they won last year.

Sally Corscadden’s Irish Eventing team of Cathal Daniels, Sam Watson, Ciaran Glynn and Sarah Ennis, are in sixth place overall of 12 teams on a score of 103.3 following today’s (Saturday) Cross Country phase at the FEI Eventing European Championships in Luhmühlen.
