NOTICE FOR ALL CSIP AND CSI-YP PONIES COMPETING AT THE 2014 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR PONIES 28TH JULY – 3RD AUGUST
Costs Involved
Entry fee payable to Millstreet for CSIP and CSI-YP: €350 per pony – includes stabling for the duration of the show
FEI registration for pony – CSIP & CSI-YP ponies do not require full FEI passports however they do need to be FEI registered for the year, the cost of this is €30
FEI rider licence: €80
Total FEI registration costs: €110

Measuring
Please note that ALL CSIP and CSI-YP ponies competing at Millstreet will be measured by an FEI measuring veterinarian, any ponies measured out in Millstreet will not be permitted to compete under FEI rules. Please see FEI ruling on Pony measurement below as taken from the FEI Veterinary Regulations 2014.
“1. A Pony is a small Horse whose height at the withers does not exceed 148.0cm
without shoes.
2. A height allowance is made for Ponies being measured at FEI Events; for Ponies being
measured at an FEI Event the Pony’s height must not exceed a maximum of 150.0cm
without shoes or a maximum of 151.0cm with shoes.”
In order to facilitate for this, the Irish Team vet, Con Kennedy will be present at Millstreet show on the 2nd of July. We would recommend you have your pony measured here, the cost of which is €20. Please contact Aileen Cartwright in HSI 045854530 if you wish to put the ponies name down on the list for measuring. If this date does not suit or you have any concerns you can also contact Ratoath Veterinary clinic on 01 8256213 to arrange a private measuring with Con. Up to date passports must be presented at the measuring.
