Speaking on the number of Irish Sport Horses competing in Haras Le Pin at the FEI European Eventing Championships, Horse Sport Ireland’s Head of Breeding, Development and Innovation with Horse Sport Ireland, Dr. Sonja Egan, said: “We’d like to congratulate all the breeders of the Irish Sport Horses competing at Le Pin au Haras.  It’s an incredible achievement to breed a horse that competes at a level as prestigious as the FEI European Championships.

“It’s also wonderful to see Irish Sport Horses representing four countries at the Championships, and it again shows why Ireland is the leading country for the breeding of three-day event horses. We are very much looking forward to watching these Irish Sport Horses compete and wish all breeders, owners, and riders the best of luck at Le Pin au Haras!”

Chairman of the Traditional Irish Horse Association, Kevin Noone, added: “It is always satisfying to see Traditional Irish Horses competing successfully on the international stage, and especially at an event such as the FEI European Eventing Championships. It’s wonderful to see Traditional breeding represented through some of the dams and the damsires of the horses competing there too.”

Horse Sport Ireland would like to congratulate all the breeders of the horses listed above, and to wish all the connections competing in France at the FEI European Eventing Championships from August 9th – 13th the very best of good luck.
